Major Research Areas

Flexible and Wearable Electronics, Renewable Electronics, Heterogeneous Electronics, Nano Polymer Assembly, and 2D materials.

Research Summary

My major research areas cover from flexible electronics, heterogeneous electronics, and novel nano-fabrications techniques.

In the flexible electronics, I focus on exploiting the applications of the flexible thin-film nanomembranes in its high-speed, high-power, opto, and medical applications. The uniqueness of the releasable single crystal nanomembranes can also achieve heterogeneous integration of different materials to boost the electronics performance that is not achievable through traditional epitaxial growth approaches.

In the nanoelectronics, I will focus on the interaction of small molecular chemicals and its interaction with the semiconductor materials to achieve the sub-10nm fabrication process.
